Last updated: 3 April 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating a HappyTeacher account you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. HappyTeacher is provided by Apacheta Studio (P.IVA 12725680966).

2. What HappyTeacher is

HappyTeacher is a schedule and income management tool for freelance language teachers. It helps you organise courses, track students, manage your weekly schedule, and understand your earnings.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must provide an accurate email address and keep it up to date. Accounts are personal — you may not share or transfer them.

You must be at least 16 years old to use HappyTeacher.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use HappyTeacher to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our infrastructure
  • Abuse the service in ways that degrade it for others
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose under Italian or EU law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Availability

We aim to keep HappyTeacher available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for disruptions caused by third-party infrastructure or force majeure.

6. Pricing

HappyTeacher is currently free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, existing users will be notified at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel your account at any time.

7. Intellectual property

The HappyTeacher software, design, and branding are owned by Apacheta Studio. The data you enter (courses, students, schedules) belongs to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Apacheta Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of HappyTeacher. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes, the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence, as provided by the Italian Consumer Code.
